XTC Series of Dual range Stereo Dissecting microscope from GX microscopes
The XTC series of stereo microscopes are one of GX Microscopes most popular ranges, they provide allround extremely high quality images at great value
prices. Each microscope in the range is equipped with 2 pairs of angles objectives mounted in a revolving nosepiece and a pair of wide-field eyepieces.
Each objective links directly to one of the angled objectives, this gives a stunning 3 dimensional image of your specimen. The optical quality is very high giving a very bright, crisp 3D image of the specimen
The binocular head is inclined at a comfortable 45º, can be easily rotated through 360º, has interpupillary distance adjustment and the left eyepiece has diopter adjustment. This makes these microscopes suitable for ergonomic use by the greatest number of people.
The illumination can be incident or transmitted or both dependent on the model selected.
The main body can be supported by an arm or column type stand. The arm stand
is suitable for constant viewing of subjects of a known height.
The pillar stand is ideal for subjects that may vary significantly in height as it allows
you to reposition the head of the microscope up the pillar. You also reverse the head away from the base (requires counterbalancing weights on the base)
