CoolLED pE-100 LED light source for fluorescence microscopy screening
There are many applications for CoolLED products in Clinical Screening using fluorescence microscopy. In fact, fluorescence is used in Pathology, Histopathology, Microbiology, Immunology, Cytology, Histology, Virology, Molecular Biology and Haematology.
Most of the screening takes place using popular fluorescent stains (fluorophores) such as Auramine, Acridine Orange, Calcofluor White, Fluorescein Isothiocyanate (FITC) and GFP. In most cases, a single LED wavelength is all that is required for illumination for your tests. CoolLED can provide LED excitation matched to your fluorescent stains and microscope filter set(s).
Supplied complete with one adapter for either Nikon, Leitz, Lieica, Olympus or Zeiss microscopes. We will contact you on ordering for the microscope adapter you require and confirm the single wavelengh required.
